Eden Green Technology is hiring an Inventory Control Analyst for our vertical greenhouse company located in Cleburne, TX (~20 mins from Fort Worth). This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organized individual to assume a position at a rapidly growing, innovative company. 

As an Inventory Control Analyst for our greenhouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient inventory management, optimizing supply chain processes, and supporting the overall success of our greenhouse cultivation activities. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing inventory levels, analyzing data to identify trends, collaborating with various departments, and working with the director of business operations to implement strategies to enhance inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of seeds, media, nutrients, plants in system, and other supplies essential for greenhouse operations.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend adjustments to procurement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to streamline supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and ensure timely materials delivery.

  • Inventory Tracking Systems: Utilize inventory management software (Netsuite) to track movements, update stock records, generate reports, and maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Auditing and Compliance: Conduct regular audits of inventory records, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains in inventory control procedures and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with greenhouse managers, production supervisors, and purchasers to coordinate inventory-related activities and resolve issues promptly.

  • Forecasting and Planning: Work closely with the demand planning team to forecast inventory needs based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and seasonal fluctuations.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of inventory through regular inspections, adherence to quality standards, and proper handling procedures.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of inventory transactions, generate regular reports on inventory status, and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field or previous experience in inventory control.

  • Proven experience in inventory control, preferably in a greenhouse or agricultural environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and inventory management software.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of greenhouse operations, ERP/ Netsuite software, plant biology, and horticultural practices is a plus.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Commitment to maintaining high accuracy, efficiency, and compliance standards in inventory management processes.

Competitive Benefits: 

Salary Range: 50-60k

Compensation is negotiable based on relevant experience or education

After 60 days, the employee will also qualify for full benefits, paid time off and holidays.
